The Monory exhibition should happen in Spring time but the Covid has twisted that schedule. Jacques Monory follows the purpose to catch the violence, the inconsistency and the fear of our modern societies. This painter the most narrative of the Narrative Figuration movment makes hyperrealistic canvas constituted by enigmatic scenes looking like diaries. Inside these canvas a color dominates the blue. Blue invoking doubt, pessimism, remorses but also the 1950's thrillers. Jacques Monory finds his inspiration inside litteratury, pictures, news for expressing ideas towards big scale canvas where he directs several landscapes.
