Born the 28th of december 1979 in Abiriba, Abia State, Nigeria, Uche Jumbo is a nigerian actress, screenwriter and Producer too. She is graduated in Mathamatics and Statistics from the Calabar University and has followed a computer programming from the federal University of Technology Mionssa. Uche Jumbo joint the nigerian industry of film (Nollywood) in 1999 at the age of 20. Since 1999 she has performed in many films like "Vista to hell", "Scouts" in 2004 with Alex Lopez, "Darkest night" (2005) "Kill my will" (2007) "Silent scandal" (2009) with Genevieve Nnaji and "Love games" (2009) with Jackie Appiah.
As screenwritter she has written or co-written several movies like "The celebrity", "Games men play" "In the houndred time to love". Uche Jumbo produce too movies like "Nollywood hustlers", "Holding hope" and "Damages" about domestic violence. Uche Jumbo is also a member of Globacom a nigerian multinational telecommunications company. This company is present in four african countries (Nigeria, Ghana, Benin, Ivory Coast) and employe 2500 people.
