Checked bagage, the villa Arson exhibites the Hear

A Lidwine Prolonge's proposition, "Sara - Lou Berthelot, Jean Doroszczuk, Marie fabry, Fire Lea, Martin B. Levy, Charlotte Fourneuf - Niel", from the 15th january to the 17th january, from 2pm to 7pm, villa Arson, galerie provisoire, 20th Stephen Liegeard avenue, 06000 Nice.

The artist Lidwine Prolonge and the Hear Format team propose to showcase an original exhibition. "The checked bagage projet" proposes like we can found in an e - mail and an officlal paper with a stamp that each artist who belong to one of both groups must not communicate each other. The first group of artists is composed by students of the villa Arson and the other one by students of the Hear school (Starsbourg, France). The persons who belong to the CSP (communication service of the project) will be the mediators between the both groups.

The luggage

The exhibition must be small and hold in a luggage. This luggage will be carried by the curator of the exhibition between Starsbourg and Nice and vice versa (airline SXB - NCE and NCE - SXB). When the curator arrives in Nice or in Starsbourg he will give the luggage to the student group of the city. The group opens the luggage a day before the exhibition and it must organize the exhibition on four days.

The first artistic performance.

The art work of the Hear artists is exposed inside the galerie provisoire of the villa Arson. The spectator can see the luggage when he comes in at the left of the galerie entrance. The art work is compose by three artistic performances. In the first two screens are face to face. On these screens several pictures go speedly or slowly with some words written in english. May be for incitating the spectator to interrogate himself.

The second artistic performance

The second artistic performance happens few meters after. Some computers are put on sofas. If you touch the screens of these computers with your fingers you can watch some scenes. The third artistic performance is more intimate. A camera shoots a film on a wall. If you want to watch it you must use several holes with differents sizes. After the exhibition you can have a drink an eat a big cake prepared by the students.
