For showcasing us the tormented and mystics women Ernest Pignon Ernest has chosen the Saint - Pons Abbey. Build in 775 by the emperor Charlemagne after his military campaign against the Lombards (773 - 774) for realizing the wish of his nephew Siagrius who will become the first bishop of the Abbey. This Abbey is a tribute to the christian martyr Saint - Pons. Pons was a senator in Rome and has succeeded to escape for protecting himself of the roman persecutions against the christians. He has founded a safe place in Nice but few months after he is arrested, tortured and killed on a rock near the Abbey (257). For making the mystic's bodies Ernest Pignon Ernest has inspired himself by the famous dancer Bernice Coppieters from the Monte - Carlo Ballet.
