Yona Friedman, Improvised prototype as cloud type

Since 1948 the architect Yona Friedman tries out a futurist architecture he showcases with maps, models and also specialized comics. He has the purpose to build a new social organization who will mix together the architecture, the science, the fine arts and the economy. This new social organization will give an answer to the contemporary needs and will put the individuals in the heart of the cities. This new social organization permit also to give a safe place to the persons who really need it like the poors. The spatial cities are the translation of the new social organization. The spatial cities are made with moving dwelling cells who follow their owner and who will be hanged in a superstructure. Each superstructure has is own way for walking.

Yona Friedman decides also to follow a new way more ecologist after realizing a short movie about an African fairy tale (1960 - 1963). Yona Friedman estimates that the modern architecture must be more involved by the destiny of the earth and also should make some propositions maybe a little bit utopian for fighting against the invasion of the garbages. Yona Friedman materialized this approach towards the cloud concept. The cloud concept is poetical by it calls out us. In this concept the architect plays a new part. He becomes to be an adviser who gives advises to the inhabitants. With his advises the inhabitants can take down, unfold and transform their houses. The Yona Friedman point of view can be consider as utopia but his projects are based on scientific technical and his teatching can be used for building houses.
