The Oscar Ruiz Navia movie "los Hongos" looks like first as a portrait of the Colombian society and his own evolution but also as a testimony of the street art universe. Ras and Calvin are two young graffiti artists who live in the city of Cali. They make some fresco and murals in the streets and the public places. Ras and Calvin must do with the incomprehension of their parents who reject this underground universe and also to be prudent with the police. Everything will change when Ras is fired from his job after stealing some painting pots. The purpose of the both will be to receive the gratitude of the other graffiti artists. The film director founded his work on the real (violence, nature, city, sick) for taken it away like the street artists who let their imagination being free.
