The "Go Canny" exhibition proposes to attract itself by a strategy of civil disobedience. This expression finds his own roots in Scotland at the end of the 19th century (1889). The Scot dockers wanted to have higher wages but they didn't succeed to have it. So they have decided to lead a non violent action for protesting. The Scot dockers have damaged or sometimes stopped the production. This non violent action uses the do it yourself and translate it in nonchalance and strict observance of the rules. The non violent action isn't forbidden by the laws but it gives a more efficient weapon than the strike or the boycott.
