The Alberto and Annette Giacometti foundation created by will in 1993 and state approved in 2003 whose the headquarter is situated in Paris gives for two months some art works from the artist collection. When he arrives in Paris during the 1920's Giacometti discovers the cubism, the African art and the Greek statues in the Bourdelle studio where he makes statues with plaster and bronze. Giacometti will always try towards his own statues to express the truth, the fantasizing and also the violence. Giacometti begins by making small size statues and progressively orientate himself towards big size statues and filiform statues during the 1950's. The exhibition underlines the part playing by his models like Caroline, the Romanian photograph Lotar, Annette and the brother artist.
