Since 2007 the Eileen Gray villa E.1027 (house near the sea) begins to be restored and Kasper Akhoj photographs the different steps of this restoration. His work respects the pictures made by Eileen Gray in "The living architecture" specially the perspective and the composition chosen by Eileen Gray. This art work confronts the different stratum of the villa (different owners, objects, ...) for questioning and also rejecting some contributions integrating inside the Gray art work. Kasper Akhoj speaks about the two graffitis made by two tramps during the 1990's who have inspire the exhibition title. Kasper Akhoj deals also with the murals made by Le Corbusier between 1938 and 1939. He considers that these murals has been made by a jealous rival who wanted to break the villa design.
