The Jean - Michel Fauquet pictures can't be classify in any gender or be reference but he succeeds to create an alchemy between the light and the form. Jean - Michel Fauquet collects or builds some objects with cardboard. He makes his own constructions inside his own studio where each element is integrated in a network who is structured in a kind of critic dialog. The buildings and the structures made by Jean - Michel Fauquet have any title because he wants to give the opportunity tot the spectator to take back the work for writing his own legend. During his exhibitions Jean - Michel Fauquet looks for the good places for exhibiting his objects because he experiments all the time by creating interactions with the public and the other mediums.

Jean - Michel Fauquet admired his elder brother and his death touch him deeply. After that he decides to escape this oppressive background by exiling himself twelve years in Canada. He has prepared his exiling long time ago during his walks in the Bordeaux harbor seduced by the lights, the boats and the prostitutes. Jean - Michel Fauquet discovers free love and easy meeting. When he returns to France he decides to build a new life based on the creation.
