For doing that she uses the active photography who asks the reality and underlines like Heraclite did that it moves all the times. Suzanne Hetzel has the purpose to know well her topic. She gives a huge importance to the human relationships she can build when she stays inside houses who welcome her. On place Suzanne Hetzel manifests a huge interest for the stories and for the most modest objects.

Faithful to the German objective photography tradition Suzanne Hetzel gives a short part to the living. She chooses and object and isolates it before shooting it. The choice of an object is linked to the gesture who isn't evident but who translate a need of a vital space and the framing takes here all his importance. But Suzanne Hetzel decides after a residence in 2010 at the CIAC (Carros village) to include the landscapes because they are linked to the representation of the daily life. The Carros village site incite Suzanne Hetzel to take up with the painting of the Flamish primitive painters (Jan Van Eyck, Gérard David).
