The photographers Teresa Maffeis and Guy Ouillon interest themselves with the daily life of the refugees who try to cross the border between France and Italy. These refugees escape from the war and the economic disaster of the countries they are born. These refuges receive the help of people, artists and associations for living in camps near the border. Their daily life is punctuate by violent relations with the police and some of them try to cross the border towards the mountain but it isn't an easy way for walking.
