Exhibition of the Movimenta Award of the young creation from November 5 to November 18, 2017, open every days from 2pm to 8pm, Old Abattoirs of Nice, 89 Turin street, 06300 Nice, admission free.

The young artists who run for the Movimenta Award explore the narration of the picture by playing on the daily life using video. Most of them have already made some masterpieces but the winner will integrate the famous FRAC PACA collection who owns 123 videos. The eight videos introduced recto / verso speak about emotional and conceptual walking playing with space and volume who turn around the notion of relations.

Beny Wagner "Eye Farm" (2016), Pierre Michelon "Tepantar (horizon)" (2017), Florent Meng "Dunes of Deletes" (2016)

Certain videos speak with the relations with the land, the colonialism and the migrations. Beny Wagner ("Eye Farm", 2016) interrogates the link between a human being and his environment by using the agriculture. Pierre Michalon ("Tepantar" (horizon), 2017) thinks to the colonialism writing and the speaking for showing the links between land and roots. Florent Meng ("Dunes of Deletes", 2016) showcases the action of the people who helps the migrants at the border between the United States and Mexico.

Others videos invoke the relations induce by the language. Camille Lloret ("Voir ce qui est dit", 2016) propose an artistic performance who has the aim to create a link between a deaf woman and a conductor. He uses the deaf language for communicating with her. This non speaking language is like a speaking body. Stéphanie Lagarde ("All future Springs", 2016) analyses the way of communicating specially the whistled language. This type of language is used for speaking and inside the political life.

Mehdi Meddaci "La place" (2013), Anne Loze "Décor" (2016), Jessica Auer "Keno City of Silver" (2017)

Some others videos concentrate themselves on the movie making. Mehdi Meddaci ("La place", 2013) invite the audience to stay in front of the camera inside a concrete architecture for thinking again the reality. Anne Loze ("Décor", 2016) uses a special humor for twisting the way of filming and specially the way of acting. Jessica Auer ("Keno City of Silver", 2017) put in parallel the closing of the silver mines and the numerical technology. The mines of Keno (Yukon) produced silver used for making films now it's a ghost town.
