Supported by the words of the poem "Waiting for the barbarians" written by the Greek poet Constantin Cavafy (1863 - 1933)  Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige explore the stacks involve by the pictures making and receiving. These stacks interrogate the imagination and the contemporary story. For making that Joana Hadjithomas and Khalil Joreige direct moving and fixing pictures of the city of Beyrouth at night.
