Collector, curator and photography critic Lola Garrido has spent all her life promoting art. Today she details her passion towards her photographic collection. Lola Garrido has built progressively her collection following some criterion : personal taste, sensibility, meeting with artists, education. Lola Garrido doesn't estimate that all her choices are judicious but her purpose is to build a testimony.

The Lola Garrido collection covers all the story of photography from the end of ,the 19th century to the 1990's and all the artistic movements of the 20th century (the pioneers, the famous Europeans and Americans photographers, ...). This collection seems to be heterogeneous but all these photographers share a common point. They reject the traditional photography and move forward to amore sophisticated and more provocative pictures.
