The film director and script Jonathan Peele inspires himself by the Stanley Kramer movie "Guess who is coming to Diner" for directing a movie about the relationships between the communities at the beginning of the Trump presidency. In 1967 the upper class couple (Katherine Hepburn, Spencer Tracy) discovers that their daughter has fall in love with an African - American who looks like an ideal son - in - law. This movie proposes a soft anti - racism point of view who breaks the rules of the society at this time. The racial question seems to be over after the Obama election but the winning of a president who like white supremacists and send many racists tweets show us the contrary.
"Get Out" speaks about a young and interracial couple Chris and Rose who wants to visit the Rose parents. Chris is a young African - American photographer and he worries himself like in the Stanley Kramer's movie about the Rose parents reaction when they will meet him. Rose reassures him by saying that her parents have voted two times for Obama. When Chris arrives and meets Rose's parents he sees that some African - American (waiters, maids) work for them. Chris begins by felling sick and his sickness will becomes higher. We can make a comparison between the Rose's father (Bradley Whitford) and the Joey father (Spencer Tracy). The Rose's father in ambiguous but the Joey's father wants specially at the end f the movie build an anti - racist America.
At the last Award ceremony the script writer and also film director Jordan Peele has received the Award for the best screenplay. His sens of humor comes directly from his own experience as imitator, actor and sketches writer inside the famous duet Peele and Key. Composed by Keegan - Michael Key (Key) and Jordan Peele (Peele) the duet has created many characters like Luther "The Anger translator" for the Chanel Comedy Central. Peele succeeds to imitate perfectly the Obama voice and he uses that gift for saying what the former president Obama couldn't tell when he leaded the United - States. Towards the Luther voice Peele critics the racist vision of the American president and denounces the hypocrisy of the American upper class liberals.
