Marcel Duchamp prize awarded and supported by three main art galleries in Paris (Eva Presenhuber) in Zürich (Kamel Mennour) and in Tel Aviv ((Dir Gallery) Latifa Echakhch isn't an unknown person. Her art work oscillates between conceptual art and surrealism, questions the importance of symbols and also translate the modernism fragility. The installation she makes at the Villa Sauber mixes memories (Monte Carlo building, childhood) with romantic nature or dreams (set fragments) connected to the museum automatons.
