Anne Favret and Patrick Manez propose a documentary way of making pictures without being too subjective. They think that photographing looks like writing and articulates itself around words who mixe time, space, memory and body. Anne Favret and Patrick Manez put the word landscape in the middle of their art work. For them landscape stays as a state concept who include streets, houses, building sites and shopping centers. These indices underline the personality of the place they are shooting.
