Awarded in 2003 by the Niepce Prize the French photographer Stephane Couturier specializes himself with architectures pictures. His pictures represent buildings in the same way or mor magnificent with perspectives and contrasts. The audience and the critics know him with his pictures about the Renault factory in Billancourt where he show his ability in using big and middle framing. The Stéphane Couturier art work rises up like the other artists towards a more artistic photography with building and disturning when he shoots urban landscapes or industrial landscapes. Stéphane Couturier takes the control of the Fernand Leger National Museum and proposes another reading of the Leger art work. He inspires himself with a painting named "Le grand remorqueur" (1923) for showing us with acuity the transformations of the working world.
