The Alain Fleischer art work inscribes itself under the open mind and the creativity because he experiments codes, lights, framing and this exhibition follows this way. Alain Fleischer questiones himself about nature of pictures and distinguishes still images given movement from animated pictures suddenly fixed. In "Happys Days" serie he uses single prints but creates the illusion of another picture by using a mirror. In his ways he tributes the Victorine film studios by tracking what separate the photographic and the cinematographic pictures and also what unite the both : contrast, clarity, definition, grain ("Je ne suis qu'une image"). Alain Fleischer takes the rotating blades of a fan on which he screens a picture for showing us the building of a movie (24 images per second). Alain Fleischer interest also himself by the tracks of a red fish ("Mer de Chine"), the dark sky of a Magritte painting ("L'empire des lumières") or by a sleeper ("L'homme dans les draps") but he mistruts the "too easy seduction" because art work must resist to the wear of gaze ("Tout un film, une seule image").
