The Lars Fredrikson art work is leaded by sound and the possibilities involved by sound. Lars Fredrikson follows electronic studies until a graduation and work in the mercantile marine during the 1950's. During his travels around the world he learns the Malevitch and Kandinsky theories. When Lars Fredrikson comes back to Europe he makes his first sticking by taking pictures magazines he twisted for giving a critical opinion about mass consumption society and wars. But the Lars Fredrikson purpose is sound and keeping the energy flows for translating them on a canvas. For doing that he builds his own recording studio where he tapes body sounds (heart, blood, ...) and uses synthetisors for working with these sounds. Lars Fredrikson succeeds to materialize sound by using distorting mirrors on which he throws sound for feeding a reflection about the body part in space. During the 1960's Lars Fredrikson finds in the flea market a machine made by the United - States for catching space signals and translating them on paper. He will use this machine for making pictures from datas. The Lars Fredrikson art work questions the space, the empty, the body for helping us to understand the world elements interactions.
