The Bonnard Museum owns for a long time the two last deawings of the "Orange Nude" painting made by Pierre Bonnard in 1943. the Museum board follows the purpose to buy this canvas to a French collector living in New - York City but needs many money for doing this. It succeeds to pay the 529.000 € with the help of 356 donors and also the South region and the city of Cannes. The "Orange Nude" painting show us the Bonnard painting rising after his living on the French Riviera. First he uses a new model Mouckay Verny and put tracks inside the set invoking the South France landscapes (walls, trees, ...). Pierre Bonnard paints a woman breast inside colorful place mixing abstract and figurative way of making. He gives huge density and mangetism to the "Orange Nude" showing us definitively the fact that he leads the colors.
