The photographer Jacques Borgetto gives a huge importance to travelling because it helps him to discover other cultures. Born in a small Italian villagehe imporves earlier a passion for photographing when he buys his first camera a Rolleiflex. Jacques Borgetto builds a serial art work proposing a new watch about economic, cultural and politics problems connected with the places he visits. Today he interests himself with the Tibet and the ethnocid of the people of Tibet made by Chinese. Following the Alexandra David Neel path and faithful of the Georges Bataille writings he makes colorful and black and white pictures showing us the people, the landscapes and the streets of Tibet. Each photography result from a intimate meeting with people because Jacques Borgetto refuses speed pictures making. All the Jacques Borgetto's photographies are full of shadows, contrast, lights and sometimes something unreal.
