The French artist Martin Miguel belongs to the 70 Group contemporary of Supports / Surfaces who makes the analyzis and also the critic of the goal and the way of painting. This movement happens when The New Realists and Fluxus interrogate our society. Martin Miguel interests himself how a prehistorical artist represents animals. They all use walls of caves on which they paint what they are watching. Martin Miguel prefers taking more modern way of doing. He appropriates himself the aniamls pictures he finds on the Net and draw them on paper but with a big size. After he takes paper paste and colors and cover all with rubber. The purpose of Miguel Michel isn't to reproduce as the same the animals on cave walls but takin off the bumps for building a perfect cartoon.
