The Photography Museum gallery highlights the local artists including famous and biginners. Now the photographer Frederic Altmann has followed with his own camera many artistic movments and involved a lot himself in museums building. Everything begins when he moves to United - States with others pupils of his school for a trip the New - York City. The Frederic Altmann parents want memories from the country and he decices to buy a camera a Brownie Flash Kodak for making pictures. He quickly understands that photographing will be his job. Frederic Altmann doesn't know anything in technical but far from speeches or paparazzis he succeeds all the time finding the good framing or ligth. In Paris he discovers naïve art and decide to build on French Riviera a museum dedicated to this type of art making. Frederic Altmann opens first a naïve art gallery inside the Cesar studio (Flayosc) and after with some helps like the municipalty of Nice he will create the International Museum of Naïve Art. He becomes also friend with the members of School of Nice and is sets up as spokesman of them. This new function arouses him giving some conferences all over the world about art and involve himself inside the building of the CIAC underlining contemporary art.
