The collectice exhibited artists find the inspiration inside a book written by James Baldwin in 1963 "The fire next time" for speaking about contemporary involvements. Baldwin begins with the ideology a system divided in categories for analyzing societies. ideology can be efficient if the intitutions agree to be like a spokesmen. During the 1960's a big ideological fight between those who are for or against the segregated society in America happen. The collective exhibited artists have the aim to follow the Baldwin commitment. Ibrahim Meïté Sikely reject the fairy tales and find his inspiration in his own living in suburbs. Aminata Labor underline the part playing by women. The ideology must moves up (Josèfa Ntjam) and if it doesn't everything could be over (Neïla Czermak Ichti). The ideology limits (Olu Ogunnaike) or it's end will let alone the human being (Kyo Kim). In fact the question for the artist is to find his place in the ideology building. He can underline the memories (Jazil Santschi), the call (Fillon Maynaja) or the learning (Sqandar Tun Tun).
