The Spanish film director José Luis Lopez Linares has owned the good idea to take with him the French script writer Jean - Claude Carrière a man who knows well the famous painter Goya for making a documentary dealing with his art work. Face to face with the exhibited canvas at the Prado Museum in Madrid the script writer asks himself who is the painting he likes more. This specialist explains us and also appreciate them each details of a painting underlining the uggly, the misery, the violence, the shame and the beauty together or alone. Carrière thinks that Goya succeeds to interrogate the visitor and finds things we can understand inside us. José Luis Lopez Linares draws a paralell between Goya and the film director Luis Bunuel whose the script writer is a friend. When he painted Goya finds inside himself both the noise and the silence. Bunuel made movies full of strength and sensibility. "Goya, Carrière and the ghost of Bunuel" tributes three lost people (Goya, Bunuel and Carrière) and art lovers.

I don't have just one favorite but two favorites Goya paintings. First the "Tres de Mayo" (El Tres de Mayo) painted in 1814 and<br /> highlighted at the Prado Museum and the famous black paintings ("Saturno devorando a un hijo") made between 1819 - 1823.<br />
