Artist and film maker borns in the Basque country Laida Lertxungi works since two decades in California state just after studies at the California Insitute of Arts. She builds connections between landscapes (California and Basque country sides) and body undestand as pleasures and experiences places baptized by her "Landscape Place". Laida Lertxungi filmes also experimental movies following Hollywood rules of directing but without any written script. She underlines improvisation inside natural landascapes like deserts for illustrating the cultures or the inhabitants way of living. Towards her movies Laida Lertxungi exhibtis some feelings from truth to emotion.
