Known for her performances in the X Rated movies between 1999 and 2002 the film director Ovidie speaks about an universe she understands well. The main character Romain a young student living in suburbs with his family during the 1990's tries to escape from his background by performing in porn. The first season was a success and Ovidie receives an Emmy Award for her short serie. After she decides with the help of Canal + to make another season dealing with Romain becoming film director. His first shot wasn't someting easy beacause he must resolve many problems including violence inside the X Rated film industry. The TV serie show us the beginning of the 2000's when this kind of films are confrontated to many challenges like Internet, the porno chic where fashion steale the X world codes and reality included in TV shows. Ovidie underlines the daily violence inside X Rated movies against actors and actresses towards the several characters she depicts. Using humor she askes ourselves about our opinion on social norms.
