Since the proclamation of the Bolivia independance (1825) the country has been leaded by generals and the army receive many money. Following the Monroe doctrine the United - States increase their domination on this country towards general officers like Barrientos or Banzer in the middle of the 20th century but at the end of the 1970's the interim presidents Arze and Tejeda try to instaure democracy. Everything stop when the general Meza takes the power in July 17th 1980 by an action knonw as "The cocaïne coup". During a press conference holds in June 17th 1971 the US president Nixon says that drug abuse is the worst ennemy of America and declares war on it. In Bolivia the CIA agent Michael Levine involve himself highly and must works with ugly people for having results. During Levine fights a politician names Luis Arce Gomez talks with his cousine Roberto Suarez Gomez a drug dealer who also makes some business with the Columbian Escobar and asks him building an agreement with the war crimimal Barbie for supporting the coup. At this time Barbie was an adviser and will stays like that after the success of the coup. The coup helps Robert Gomez Suarez winning much more money but the action of the both stops because the American government follows the Nixon doctrine against drug dealing. Klaus Barbie and Meza end their lives in prison but Roberto Suarez Gomez gives many money to the state of Bolivia and succeeds to be free. Using testimonies of the protagonists and pictures from achives "Das nazi kartell" show us the inside of the fighting against drug dealing.
