The TV serie "Malditos" really begins when the film maker Jean - Charles Hue discovers that his grand - father was a Yeniche gypsie. This discovery arouses him following gypsies values and moving with them through roads before directing movies like "Mange tes morts" or "La BM du seigneur". Jedan - Charles Hue speaks about a world he knows well the travel gypsie world who disappear because most of them choose to live in buildings or houses. In the South of France the Yéniche Torrès clan exploits a Luna Park but floods happen and the prefecture want to expel them. The shooting of the scene is doing near the city of Saint - Tropez because the technical crew has founded a land looking like Camargue and also an available Luna Park. Sara (Céline Salette) the leader of the Yeniche gypsies asks to Juan (Damien Bonnard) the leader of the Amaya gypsies if he really agree welcoming her family and the Luna Park on his own property. She will give him money until the time where the prefecture let her quite. Jean - Charles Hue wanted to direct a documentary about stallholders but he doesn't have enough time and money. So he decides to make this Tv serie as a Shakesperian tragedy with a young guy and a young woman belonging to each clans falling in love. All the actors involve themselves highly showing us their flaws, their passions, their limits, their madness like the two Sara's sons driving fast on roads for find the solution of an old secret disturbing the protagonists lives.
