Here begins the sea

Festival du Peu from July 4th to July 27th 2025, square la Ferrage, square la Fontaine and la Verdure theater, 06510 Le Broc, admission free.

As usual the Festival du Peu welcomes artists and proposes a walk towards the streets of the old village of le Broc. It follows the dynamic created by the Summit of the oceans holded in Nice at the beginning of June for talking about the link between human activities and seas. The village of le Broc doesn't stand right in front pf the sea but own water moving to it. The artists appropriate themselves water as topic with the help of several mediums for highlighting beauty lightness of water. Jacky Ananou uses his blue pen for talking about effects arouse by a drop. Marcel Bataillard show us the disturbing involve by this element. The duet Faverez and Manez prefer finding toward black and white pictures the hiding water in our cities. The Héléna Krajewicz and Rob Rowland installations inform us about pollution due to drilling oil all over the world destroying ground waters. Donia Ouassit (picture) and Pascal Papalia show us the emergency keeping clean water in daily life. This pollution can also be improve as creativity in spite of the fact that it isn't good for nature (Thibault Rivet). Simone Simon thinks that we must protect water because it builds our relationship with landscape. The Festival ends underlining a young artist names Wokic mangas lover doodeling art performer full of spontaneous telling towards his pictures about the future of water.
