Sight on sea

Exhibition at the CIAC until June 18th 2023 of Babilaité, Cassarini, Challan - Belval, Cini, Cella, Hilmi Hodeib, Gaudet, Godard, Mendonça, Pignatelli, Thiry, Vilato, Woda, Carros Castle, Castle square, 06510 Carros (village), open from Wednesday to Saturday (11am - 5pm), phone : 04.93.29.37.97, admission free.

 

The second floor exhibition at the Carros castle put together artists from the castle collection and guested artists with the goal to create a connection with the works of Stéphanie Hamel - Grain and Isabelle Poilprez. Stéphanie and Isabelle speaks about bottles in the sea and the others artists take the sea in the global point of view. The exhibition tributes the Mediterranean sea (Jean Cassarini) or the dead sea owning some archeological beauties (Hala Hilmi Hodeib). The sea can also help people moving away from cities (Anne - Laure Willai) or let the minds thinking (Ercole Pignatelli). Human being can be known better with the contibution of the sea (Mona and Tom Barbagli) including other civilizations or way of living (Bruno Mendonça, Caroline Challan - Belval, Enzo Cini, Jacques Godard, Raymond Gaudet) but the wea world stay something fragile and mysterious (Eglé Babilaité, Renato Bricco, Jean Thiry, Javier Vilato, Albert Woda).

The surreal scene in France his appreciated by few art lovers people. These scene must build more connections with the other people including meetings or teachings but this scene prefers staying confidential and it's a mistake.
