Giving a definition about Frédéric Ballester personality stays something difficult because it's so contradictory. Excessive without being an extremist, loving Arte but rejecting novelists he imagines the world as a place where everything is possible. Frédéric Ballester introduces himself as an image host who want to suscitate pleasure and questionings. He involves highly in art process like his own way builds towards studies at the Paris Fine Arts school, studies at the Aix law school, some activities as curator (Paris, Berlin) and the leading of the Art Malmaison Center in Cannes shows. His eclectic collection exhibited by the Ciac recovers a period of time from the 16th to the 21rst century. The Ciac underlines it in different places of the castle following themes liking by Frederic Ballester. From the New Figuration to the Raw Art and the nude he opens new worlds without forgetting his attraction for books written by modern and contemporary writers.
