"This magnificent cake" short movie deals with of the Congo story between the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century towards five different characters : a disturbed king, a young Congolese working in a luxury hotel, a greedy baker, a lost pastor and a young deserter. These five different characters will never meet them together but they symbolyze the bloody story of Congo colonization. The disturbed king colonizes Congo but he can't explain why. The young Congolese suffers far from his family and he will be killed by accident involved by a teenager. The greedy baker provokes the death of his porters and the young deserter succeeds to go out.
