Barbie and the others Barbies live a peaceful life in Barbieland far from problems inside pink houses without any outside walls. They lead this unreal world and Ken the Barbie's boyfriend spends his time on the beach swimming and playing. One day Barbie improves bad feelings about her body thinking she was too fat and also having bad breath. For finding a solution she decides leaving Barbieland with Ken moving to real world. The film maker Greta Gerwig succeeds to speak about patriarchate not towards #Meetoo speech but by using humor including frivolity Barbie's codes. Arriving in the real world Barbie and Ken are looking as fools with their shiny clothes, their hair cut and their way of speaking. This travel deeply changes the both and Ken becomes to own trust about himself. Moving back to Barbieland he takes the power. During that time the Mattel boss tries to kidnap Barbie without any luck and with the help of a fan Barbie escapes from real world. Barbie spends childhood for being adult keeping power again giving Ken the advise finding his personnality. Ratified by Mattel compagny itself the movie stays profitable all over the world and this iconic puppet opens a new life.
