"Killers of the Flower Moon" is a true story leaded by greed, love and murders during the 1920's in the Osage Indian reserve (Oklahoma state). Martin Scorsese explores the reasons why some people have done violence against them dealing with a dark side of United - States story. In 1897 oil is founded inside Osage reserve. Ernst Burkhert a first world war American veteran and a little bit naïve guy looks for a job. His uncle William Hale known as King (Robert De Niro) helps him becoming a driver. The taxes coming from driling are managed by the Office of Indian Affairs but the oil prospectors specially white don't like this. Ernst meets Mollie (Lily Gladstone) a young Osage female suffering from diabetes and falls in love supported by his uncle in spite of the opinion of Lizzie the Mollie's mother. With the help of corrupted civil servants belonging to the Office of Indian Affairs some prospectors succeed to make a pression on Osage for trying to steal their properties. King the Ernst's uncle plays an important part in this business but stays nervous because his nephew has succeeded to avoid two murders including the one against Roan a famous drunker. He has also introduced poison inside the Mollie medecine for killing her. Nobody seems to be interested by the Osages tragedy until the Mollie trip to Washington DC where she will have a talk with the American president Calvin Coolidge. After the president gives the order to the Bureau of Investigations the FBI ancestor finding evidences and prosecuting those who kill Indians. King tries distroying proofs but Ernst testifies aginst him for protecting Mollie. All the film critics say that "Killers of Flower Moon" is one of the best Scorsese movie underlining the actors performances in spite of the movie duration. Sixty Indians have been killed but the justice sentences few people. The Congress of the United - States has adopted a law for protecting the Osages rights on oil.  The Indians have also introduced a claim against the Office of Indian Affairs for trying to recover their money stolen by the Office.
