The artist and the mercy

Exhibition at the Church Notre - Dame of Bon Voyage, square Mérimée, 2 rue Notre - Dame, 06400 Cannes, from the 13th of may to the 21rst of may, open all the days from 3pm to 7pm, entrance : free.

The crypt of the Church of Notre - Dame of Bon Voyage welcomes during the Cannes Film Festival an exhibition around the artist and the mercy. The designers Isabelle Rigal and Alessandro Mendini speak about the mercy. Isabelle Rigal invent some private and public objects for private groups. Towards a champagne bung she invokes the connection between wine and happiness for illustrating the mercy. Alessandro Mendini adopts another way more colorful who breaks the modernism for going to the spirituality.

The spirituality is the other important them of this exhibition like in the art work of Anne Laure Lavagna. Each of her canvas deal with a pray and the generosity of the colors help to touch much more people. Christiane Parmentier and Marie Aude Tardiva try to give the invisibility visible because they think that there is a connection between the sky and the earth. Vivi Currier concludes this exhibition when she says that the spirituality suspends the time and establishes a line with God. Inside her canvas she writes some poems ended by Selah a word who means dialog.
