The Brigade charismatic leader Patrick (Bruno Todeschini) leaves his situation to his successor Saïd (Sofian Khammes) a man he knows well because they have fought together against terrorists during the Bataclan assault few years ago. Saïd must direct the police team head, avoiding gangs war, and know how using informants like the chief of gypsie gang performs by Vincent Elbaz. For making this short TV serie Jérémie Guez has ridden many documents including also books and asks to real policeman coaching actors and actresses for translating reality far from Hollywood heroes. The result is an efficient serie owning roots with the Michaël Mann film "Heat" and dealing with truth about the policemen daily life looking for informations, keep watching and catching gangmen. "The Brigade" underlines a new actors and actresses generation (Ophélie Bau, Théo Christian, Rabah Nait Oufella, Waël Sersoub) with their personalities and their determination under the direction of a film maker who have already written fifteen scripts.
