The life of the former king of Spain Juan Carlos looks like a tragedy written by Shakespeare puting together power, money and sex. Born in Roma (Italy) in 1931 he lives right now in an island near the Abu Dhabi coast. Juan Carlos should never be a king at first because the dictator Franco follows the will building a dictatorship but doesn't succeed to find a successor and must choose him under the condition to stay as a Franco's partisans puppet. After the dictator passing away in november 1975 Juan Carlos understand that his country needs reforms and nominates Adolfo Suarez as Prime minister. A new legislation will be adopted in november 1976 and a constitution builds another political and democratic system in 1978. The king Juan Carlos becomes the symbol of democratic Spain and his advices will be listened in spite of the fact that non partisans king want to build again the republic. In February 21rst 1981 some soldiers take the control of Parliament and the King gives orders arresting them for being sentenced. At this time Juan Carlos reaches it's peak but another story begins like the documentary shows. Womanizer he has many love affairs and his woman the queen Sophia has found him one time in a bed with another girl. For protecting the crown she decides to stay. The breaking between the king and the Spanish people happens in April 2012 during an expensive hunting in Botswana. After a meal washed down with plenty of wine the king Juan Carlos will have an accident. This event happens when Spain is confrontated to a deep economic and social crisis. The press explains also that his new girlfriend Corinna is the woman of his best friend. As answer to the political storm the new king Felipe says to his father that he should live out Spain. Owning many evidences from king nearest people except royals this documentary show us the other side like the American TV shows does.
